The Greater Niagara Ballet Company is offering several summer ballet sessions for students ages 4-adult at our studio located in the Niagara Arts & Cultural Center.

Online registration is now open via Jackrabbit. Once you are registered, you can log in directly to the Portal to access your account, register and pay your bill.
There are a limited number of scholarships for dancers under the age of 19 for summer sessions. Please register first and then fill out our summer scholarship form to apply.

Tuesday Summer Class Info
Primary Ballet: Geared for dancers 4-6 as well as 7-year olds brand new to dance classes. Primary class instills the love of dance and allows for creative expression.
Primary Tap: Geared for dancers 4-7. Primary tap class introduces basic tap steps to young dancers.
Level 3/4: Geared for dancers 11+. Class will be taught at the intermediate level.
Current Level 3 & 4 students may enroll. For new students or dancers not yet in Level 3 interested in this class, please email us at studiognbc@gmail.com for permission. Please note that permission is not guaranteed and alternate placements may be suggested.
All Levels Pointe: Students must already be cleared by the instructor for pointe work or must be already training in pointe with a qualified instructor. Requests to start pointe over the summer without prior permission from a qualified instructor will not be approved.*
Variations: Geared for dancers 13+ with several years of pointe training and currently at the 3/4 level.*
This class gives dancers the chance to learn famous solos from classical ballets – the same pieces performed on professional stages. It’s an inspiring way for students to build confidence, strengthen technique, and explore artistry through iconic choreography. Over the summer, dancers will learn several different variations, helping them grow their performance skills, musicality, and understanding of ballet’s rich repertoire.
*Dancers not yet in pointe shoes who are at the level 3/4 level should request permission if interested in taking these classes off pointe.
Wednesday Summer Class Info
All Levels Ballet: Geared for dancers 7-11. All Levels Ballet mainly serves as an introduction to ballet for dancers ages 8-11 focusing on basic ballet fundamentals and for 7 year olds with at least a year of ballet study at the Primary level or higher. Students aged 7 who are brand new to ballet and/or dance classes should enroll in Primary for summer.
Barre/Center is a hybrid class and is set up in the following manner:
Barre will be taught at the beginner/advanced beginner level for ages 11+. Students new to ballet are welcome to attend. Students aged 11 with no prior dance background should enroll in All Levels Ballet instead. Intermediate and advanced students taking the class who are already studying pointe may take the Barre section in pointe shoes.
Center will be taught at the intermediate/advanced level for ages 13+. Current Level 3 & 4 students may enroll. For new students, please email us at studiognbc@gmail.com to determine placement level.
Summer Saturday Adult & Teen Ballet Class Info
Geared for ages 12 – adult.
This summer, we are excited to offer Saturday morning Adult & Teen ballet classes! Class is taught at the beginner/advanced beginner level. Students new to ballet are welcome to attend.
